[Lascombes 2013 – Second Growth by Michel Rolland]
Chateau Lascombes is situated within few hundreds meter from Chateau Margaux. After the joining of Flying winemaker Michel Rolland, dramatic changes are happened to the winery development. In “Noble Rot: A Bordeaux Wine Revolution”, William Echikson writes that before the joining of MichelRolland Chateau Lascombes "produced about 500,000 bottles of mediocre wine, about half of which was sold not as Lascombes itself, but as the inferior Chevalier de Lascombes." Today, Echikson said even the Chevalier is (2nd wine) better than the old Lascombes (1st wine).

力士金酒莊與著名的瑪歌酒莊只有數百米之隔。著名釀酒師米歇爾·羅蘭的加入，為力士金帶來巨變。在““Noble Rot: A Bordeaux Wine Revolution”一書中，作者威廉·艾奇克森提到，在成為力士金莊的釀酒顧問前，酒莊年生產50萬瓶品質一般的葡萄酒，其中有一半還是以二等酒的酒標Chevalier de Lascombes售出，自從羅蘭加入後，二等酒的品質也比當年一等酒的還要高。
