Robert Parker said Charles Rousseau, domaine owner of Armand Rousseau, is the winemaker that he admired a lot and he is proud of collecting their wines. The importance and market value of Armand Rousseau in Gevrey Chambertin equals to these of DRC in Vonse Romanee, which make her earn the name of “King of Gevrey Chambertin”. Among of her 14-hectare vineyards, Grand Cru covers 8.1 hectares while village vineyards have the smallest coverage, only 2.2 hectares. Her signature wines include Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Beze and Clos St Jacques Premier Cru. No Bourgogne is being produced under Armand Rousseau.
