L'Evangile is a famed chateau with long history dating back to 1741. It locates in the boundary of Pomeral and St. Emilion with a neighbor of Petrus and Cheval Blanc. L'Evangile assembles the characteristics of famed chateaux in right bank. “A unique terroir, irresistible, very different from the Médoc but absolutely outstanding,” said Baron Eric de Rothschild. In the well-known Bordeaux Wine Bible “Bordeaux et ses vins” in 1868 ranked L'Evangile as Grand Cru Classes A. Its quality and potential should not be underestimated.
