Comtes Lafon – King of Meursault
Domaine des Comtes Lafon has the deepest and coldest cellars in Burgundy and they nurture some of the greatest dry white wines of Burgundy. Their wines earn the same prestige as Leflaive. Dominique Lafon is the leading producer in Meursault, though it is located at Meursault which no grand cru vineyard can be found, it produces very limited and rare Montrachet. Their premier cru is at astonishing depth and complexity, yet supremely balanced as well.
